Mid-range on the ground runs roughly €90 to €130 per person per day excluding flights — pricier than Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok, cheaper than Tokyo hotels at peak.

Can I combine Singapore with Malaysia?+
Yes — Johor Bahru across the Causeway or fly Kuala Lumpur. Many travellers sleep in JB and day-trip Singapore to save hotel costs.
